Hardware, ECU + labour for 70 HP.

Worth it or not?

VSA will do it for much less. I did it on mine and all together with bunch of more upgrades and about 50 HP's more than the stock system was much less than that.

I know there's few aftermarket options out there, but 23k will roll a better solution than 70hp,

That's a good question - 23,000 HKD is ~ 3,000 USD. Which seems far more reasonable.

Reading this thread I'm not so sure (never driven an Evora though so no expert) You don't have to have an S Evora, NA is fine.

I don't know where the dealer got that number. I bought the Kit complete from Lotus Racing UK direct and paid $8500 for it. My kit had everything included. S clutch, flywheel, fuel pump and the full supercharger kit and injectors. The only thing I didn't buy was the ECU. My car was the first car that got supercharged and Phil with BOE fabrication tuned my car. If you get the same kit he has a perfect tune for it now. You can either buy the cable like mine and upload the tune yourself of just send your ECU to have them upload it for you. Last time we dyno'd the car it showed 357WHP. The tune with the cable will be somewhere close to $1300 if i'm not mistaking. That means the full kit will be somewhere close to 10K complete. Now installation is something else. It will be somewhere close to 35 Hours. The main thing will be the clutch and flywheel replacement. If you decide to keep the old clutch which you can then you can take out 15 to 20 Hours from the labor time. Replacing the clutch in the Evora is a real pain in the ass. The whole engine needs to be pulled out completely before you can do the replacement.

We can not compare a price in US to a price in Hong Kong; import duty tax alone can double the price. Cars cost a fortune in Hong Kong, Singapore etc because of government taxes. I am in Singapore now, last night had dinner with an old friend. Drives an Outback here while having a Viper and four bikes back in US. I asked him why he didnt bring at least one bike.. Cause it cost 50,000 usd in tax to import.
