Been a while since I've been on here, hopefully everyone had a great holiday. So I recieved this yesterday as a gift and was wondering if anyone has used this stuff in their Elise/Exige. Here's a link to the 3m site

3M Fuel System Tune-Up Kit, 08963-Shop 3M

The kit consists of:
1 - 8.75 oz. canister of 3M Intake System Cleaner
1 - 4 oz. canister of 3M Throttle Plate and Carb Cleaner
1 - 16 fluid oz. bottle of 3M Complete Fuel System Cleaner

Should I use this in the Elise?

I don't believe in any of that stuff whether its 3m, wurth, BG, seafoam, etc. I have never seen any benefits from them while working in the auto industry for the last 10 years.

Better, perhaps, to use a Top Tier brand, which have additives approved by many car makers. (Exxon/Mobil, Shell, etc)

Thanks, for the input! I was leaning against using it, just wanted to get a couple opinions. And unfortunately the person who gave me this didn't include a gift receipt. Oh well, I may hang on to it for a while, or just give it to someone else next Christmas haha!
