Another Squeak thread

I have (mostly) read all the threads on suspension squeaks and I have not heard of anyone having as much squeaking as I am currently experiencing. Simply getting into the car makes it squeak. Every single bump, rock and bug that I drive over makes it squeak too.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Not sure if this has anything to do with it but it started halfway back home from a ~3.5 hour drive in blazing sun.

Squeeks are your friends. There is more to worry about when the squeeks are not happening. Each squeek is a part reporting in for duty. Feel secure in knowing your car is all present and accounted for and ready to go touring (on them there touring wheels).

Just trying to find another way at looking at the glass, good luck chasing down the squeeks.

After the first time really riding her hard she started to squeek. Good in a woman, not good in a car. The squeeks seem to come and go. But when thyy do happen it's always when the chassis is flexed. Not always from the same point either. One squeek was eliminated, though. CD case wedged against lumbar support bulb in passenger cabin.
It's a Lotus.

It's not so much that you only live once, it's more that you're dead for so very long afterwards.

I had some rattles from under the car and asked that the dealer check out the suspension when in for service. They replaced sway bar bushings...

now no rattles but I have a squeak

... never had one before in the last two years!

Thanks for the input.

Yea, I don't mind body panels or bits inside the cabin making noises - that's to be expected, I was just concerned about the sudden change in the suspension - as if something broke during the drive. I still may have the dealer check it out and see if it is a bushing.
