Anyone tried this sunshade for Elise/Exige?

CUSTOM WINDSHIELD SUNSHADES LOTUS ELISE 2003-2009:eBay Motors (item 320371151196 end time Aug-11-09 10:59:53 PDT)

This time of year I find myself wishing I had one for the Lotus.

Why pay $40? Buy a full size one for $10 and cut it to fit.
Maybe I'm just cheap.

I bought the one that comes with two individual oblong circles that can overlap. Works just fine for me.

I hadn't considered that kind. I was thinking the ones that are rectangular and fold up flat were the only type.

Yep, I purchased one from Walmart, made a patten for the windshield, cut it and bound the edges with black duct tape.

Instead of that for the inside of just the windshield, try a cockpit cover - here's my thread on it: Alternative Cockpit Cover

And buy full-size rubber floor mats and cut them to fit.

No one sees them, they look fine and you're going to throw them out anyway.

Be inventive and save some money on your Lotus.
