ap racing brake calibers

Theres a pair on e bay I cant track down by model numbers cause they claim to be 3 years old and never used, want to be sure there authentic or that they would work on an 05 stock elise rim and tire. Do all rotors and brake lines from ap pretty much work for each other even with the three year old model. please tell me if this purchase is worth doing or not or how accessible the replacements parts are.

I don't think they will work unless you have LSS (won't fit under stock wheel).

If they are 3 years old then they will not be the same as the ones Lotus supply as a kit now, they will be the MS ones used along with a new Master Cylinder and rear calipers, running on 295mm disks.

also, they do not just bolt up, they were used on the S1's Ali front uprights that had been double drilled/tapped for both std and MS calipers.

Remeber, AP make a **** load of calipers, lot's look the same but as not.

you need to know exactly what AP calipers these are, as in model number and piston sizes... (allong with mount spacing and bridge spacing)
