35.5 is the average age.
Youngest owner 18 Oldest owner 76 Largest age group 20-30 138 Posts XLS doc here 138 posts. 1st 20-30 = 55 2nd 30-40 = 35 3rd 40-50 = 20 4th 50-60 = 12 5th 60-80 = 11 6th 16 -20 = 5

AT AGE 16...CAN HE DRIVE????.....the lotus i mean. Wouldnt it be better for him to drive like a corolla or something and then get a lotus when hes like 19-20....or 21 like the rest of us.

Does he know that 16 year olds like to show off and do dumb stuff (more than 20+yr olds)???? Does he also know how much the front clam is??? Is he made of money???

Maybe I should have asked "Is it fair to assume..."
I was wondering what basis people tend to go off when they act like younger drivers just 'aren't good enough' to drive cars like Lotus. |

well if the kids dad is made of money.....and the kid is an alright driver.....then its ok i guess.
Least we know that lotus wont be back for sale in about a year.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..........................................because it will be totaled (heres to hoping that doesnt happen).

consider sending your 16 yo kid off on a full size bike of any sort.
especially when he had no two-wheeler prior experience..... there's a recipe for a broken body, even worse than high school football. sam

Those averages surprise me a little. I would have guessed the largest group would be 30-40 or 40-50. I was paying for my home before I bought my Lotus. I sold my '68 GT 500 and bought an Exige with the profit.
A lotus at 16 is crazy, whether money was a factor or not. |
