Bottomed out front end now airbag light is on

I was on the street, moving pretty fast. Came into an intersection that was not very well lit. The front end bottomed out HARD in a dip in te road (can't believe I didn't break my splitter). Right after the airbag light came on on the dash. Any way I can fix this myself? Loose wire somewhere maybe?

Sounds like a sensor or cable was knocked loose. Don't know how "fixable" that is without a service manual.

You can try disconnecting the battery, but if that doesn't work I believe only a dealer scan analyzer can reset it.

The only way to really know is to read out the code that turned on the light.

Maybe the belt tensioners went off? Did you notice your seat-belt get real tight?
