Unhappy A/C fan making racket when turning right???

So last night when I turned into my place my car made the weirdest screeching racket which sounded like it was coming from my passenger wheel well . I went for a drive to see if it would do it again, and found that whenever I would make a right-hand turn it would make the noise, but would stop once driving straight . Turning left would not result in the same noise. Upon further investigation, I found that the a/c fan was the source of the noise. When it was on it would make the racket while turning right, but when I turned the fan off it wouldn't make the noise. It's still doing it today ... It sounds to me that maybe the fans bearings are going bad??? I don't know for sure. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to stop this horrible screeching noise? I'd greatly appreciate any advice I receive that could possibly lead to fixing this issue.

Regards!

Turn the A/C off, it doesn't work that well anyway.

Obviously sounds like an interference problem, something rubbing, not bearings. When you say A/C fans, do you mean the radiator/condenser fans or the climate control blower fan?

1) Insulate the cockpit from Solar (3M Crystalline Tint) & Convected (insulate sills) heat.
2) Replace evaporator thermostat with an upgraded electronic version to prevent freeze up.
3) Increase airflow into cockpit by removing both driver & passenger side footwell intake panels & blocking 2 outside air intakes in nose.

Climate control blower fan. In southwest Florida it gets freak'n hot in the summer even when the a/c is on its only tolerable... There's only a few months out of the year were you can truely enjoy the windows down or the top off.

I really don't know why the blower fan makes a noise only on a right hand turn. Regarding your complaint of the A/C performance, have you tried doing my mod, see link below. I live in south Florida and now my A/C is working very well.
Regards, Michael

Thanks for the suggestion Viper. I have seen your post, but just haven't had the time with how busy things have been at work. I'm going to look into this rubbing issue this evening and let you know what I find out.

So I looked into the screeching noise this evening and yielded nothing up front so I'm thinking it maybe from something in the engine bay resonating through the chassis. It almost sounds as if its a loose belt, but it dosn't make sense seeing the a/c is electrical not belt driven.

I find it hard to believe it is the blower fan. You have to inspect all interferences when you make a right turn and see what is touching.
Good luck, Michael

Update!

So it turns out that it most likely was the drive belt. It was worn and starting to crack... New belt and no more noise. I found it odd that it would only do it when the fan was running though, any thoughts? I mean I could understand if there was an extra load being put on the engine due to the a/c compressor, but that only happens once the a/c button is turnned on from my understanding. anyway she's back to normal again

I had that screeching sound followed by white smoke coming out of the vents. Turns out the leads to the a/c blower were corroded and shorting out.

Ok, so it's back to square one. I thought it was gone, but that only lasted for three days. Friday was really rainy all day and that night when I took it out it started back up again . Saturday it was dry and it only made the noise few times out of the whole day, the last which was barely noticable. Now it only does it under extreme turning conditions unless its been raining in which it will do it at 15 miles per hour into a right hand turn. This still only happens when turning right.

In reference to the quote above about corrosion and the wiring, I've already had that issue and they replaced all the wiring and harnesses because it shorted out and I had smoke through the vents only it had a burning electrical smell. It was covered under warranty at the time and the pan was drilled as instructed by Lotus for draining the condensation.

The belt that was replaced was the Drive belt located on the passenger side on the front of the engine when looking in from the top. Turns out it wasn't the cause after all.
