Car turns over but doesn't start?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem. I got in my elise this morning to go to work and it wouldn’t start. It turns over just fine but will not start. The car only has 11,000 miles on it so it can’t be the spark plugs, but maybe the wiring to them, or a computer issue? I’m not sure what to check but I thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone has run into this before, or maybe know what to check.

When i get back home i plan on unplugging the battery in hopes the system will reset but after that I have no clue.

Thanks

Thanks for the idea

and LARRY I almost answered the gas question in my initial post, but I was hoping no one would ask me if I’m retarded. So to answer your question yes I have gas in my car, and to answer your next question, I also have an engine.

You should hear the fuel pump with the key "on". If you don't it might be the fuel pump relay

Thanks for all the help guys,

turns out it was the immobilizer, the person who owned my car before me did a piss poor job jumping the plug. all better.
