Not everyone's cup of tea, I know. But I'm gonna try it. I already bought one can of plastidip. If it turns out bad, it's easy to remove.
The car: ![]() The goal; blue wheels like this GT3-RS: ![]() Anyone ever attempted this before ?

What shade of blue? It could look really good or really bad depending on the exact shade. A pale blue, like on that GT3, would look not so good (imho) with orange. A bright blue would look ok I think!

John from Northstar Motorsports here in Chicagoland has an awesome Riveria Blue GT3RS with Orange bits and it looks awesome, but orange with blue? Hmmm.
![]() Depends on the shade of blue, but it could come across lookng like a Denver Broncos/Boise State Cowboys clown car.... Ryan Clady (who played for both) wouldn't fit in it, but it would work for him!

If I get time tonight, I still have my ps file saved from messing with my wheels from this thread:
http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f115...p-help-120263/ I'll see if I can do a blue like that and post it up. |

Oh... Thanks for the PS.
I also have a can of black and white so I will try to play with the color a bit. It seems that a brighter blue might look better.

I really like your black wheels, but it's not like you can't undo or repaint them another color should you tire of blue. But notice that the Porsche has color cues that the car's wheels are picking up. In your instance, your trim pieces are primarily black, which match your wheels nicely.

Blue wheels on orange? Not working so well. Stick with black.
