Yes, except the turn signal didn't fall off in the first week of ownership.

I couldn't tell what it was flapping against the front of the car until I signaled to pull over and it began flashing too!

It is good to hear your car is back on the road. Are you replacing the Braille battery or keeping the stock one?

The Braille was beyond dead. Right now I have the large OEM style battery. I'll keep it as long as it stays firmly planted in its bracket.

It will burp sulfuric acid all over your trunk if you drive the car hard at all. Toss it out now!

Apparently so, but I have not had any issues with it.

I'm glad to read that you got your car back Harold.

Sorry to hear about the Battery issue. I've been wondering about whether I should swap out the stock battery but so far no issues.

Much regards!

I never had a problem with acid after almost one year and 15K miles, but others have.

I replaced it mainly because the stock mount is weak and the battery constantly shifted. I was concerned that the battery would have broken loose as has happened to others.

Wow! Sorry to hear all of this happening Harold. The important thing is that you are ok...my Dad had a similar incident recently where he hit a big rock with the rear of his Caddy CTS-V. He is fine though and the car got about $12,000 worth of damage!
