Cooling U Tube--warranty? (dealers?)

So as we all know many cars have had the cooling U tube problem, the one Yaudi pointed out.

On that thread, several people mentioned that they printed the pictures/took it the dealership to have it looked at.

I am curious, for people who have their car still under warranty, what if anything has been a fix by the Lotus dealers?

Do we think that Lotus USA is aware of the problem, and is providing a fix for the in warranty cars?

I wrapped it in rubber hose. My 06 is under warranty, but I didn't
mention it to the dealer. They get really agitated at park ave. lotus in Maywood, NJ when you mention warranty work.

I took the pics to Lotus of Jacksonville, and they were not aware of it. However, when the did my first service, they did wrap it in rubber hose as indicated by the fix. I have not been under there to confim, but they said they did it and did not charge me.

Spoke to dealer, under warranty, they said they are aware of the problem, and be happy to wrap it up, per Lotus Talk picture instruction.
