Honestly this was a really nice Elise and you should enjoy it quite a bit if you get it back on the road. The motor was broken in very well, always dealer serviced except for the last oil change (my dealer was snowed in for several weeks, got tired of waiting), etc... It's got fresh AMSOIL 5w-40 (European car) in it, and has since the first oil change, along with a new K&N oil filter.

From what I could tell it didn't have any suspension damage aside from the sheared toe-link. If you get it all fixed and back on the road you will really enjoy it.

If they gave you the front clam with it I'd love to have the scraped up Lotus badge off of it, I wanted to pry it off at the holding center but everyone was staring at me as I grabbed my stereo & iPod out of the car.

WOW... 41k for an 05... I got less on the 06. The only reason I wasnt concerned is because I have GAP insurance to cover the rest. How many miles did you have on it?

I'm surprised all that damage wouldn't total it. It must be at least $20,000 in damages if not more.
No, in the bachground is a Subi STi

It's a 02/03 WRX. Look at the round (bugeye) headlight, the lack of STi stenciled on the intercooler, and no red intake manifold.

Shaggy, I'm glad that it worked out for you and you weren't injured. The M3 is a beautiful car too, and definitely on my list of "cars to own someday."

I have one. The interiors are gorgeous and plush. The handling is very good. Its a beautiful car with lots of appeal. The only downfall I have to complain about is the fact that its a pig. Just wayyyyyyyyyy to heavy for its own good. I dont feel like it pulls like it should considering the power, but the influx is the weight. I would still choose it over the E92 (at least at this point).

I was coming around an on ramp and there was a Harley rider camped out on the half off the shoulder about 3/4 of the way through the curve screwing around with a saddlebag. Natural reaction is to get out of the gas and the rear end got loose. Any faster and I might not have been able to countersteer it.
I found what appears to be his elise on Autotrader!!!

Would be a great candidate for another cobra type conversion. This one you could do CF clams first and lose even more weight!

Id hit them over the head with a number like 12k just to see how they react. Wonder what they payed....

We actually painted the room(s) a year or so before we had the car. You can kinda see the color on the one accent wall...

Thanks for sharing, it looks really nice as an accent and it's a cool pad.
