I am just now back home. The ride was a great time - some great sights and a lot of fun people to chat with.

The cop that came to get my license was very short when I asked him why we were pulled over - he wouldn't answer. Other than that it was a very good trip.

There should be some sort of blog/news story posted on an online paper. If it shows up I'll toss up link.

Once I get some video clipped and uploaded - I'll also post links.

Hello Kitty has to be the best most subtle troll on this forum. Just enough insightful posts to balance out his dumb troll worthless posts. Well played.

What the fook are you talking about? Surely you can't be serious (I know, I know. You are serious and don't call you Shirley).

You're either trolling or are truly ignorant to the realities of flight. Oh, and there's two "O"s in Goose, and two "S"s in Cessna.

Have you not read any of his/her(?) other posts? A huge majority of them are like this. I concur with 6i9's assessment about this person.

I wish I would have asked the cop what the pilot said when he "clocked" us.

Of course Kitty doesn't fly... you can't do "burnouts" in a plane.

"Clocked" from air trap support is done with VASCAR and it is really about as close to "clocking" as one would get .

bmw330ciandr6,

Sorry you had a bad experience at the Meers diner. Joe Moranto used to run the place really well, but he may no longer be alive. I used to head down that way several times a year when I worked for the University of Oklahoma. Ft. Sill was my pre-mob site when I went to Iraq.

I would think that Cessna should glide really well, high wing stability, crank down those flaps and cruise to a landing...

Fun with law enforcement. Pulled over for 7 over in the middle of nowhere.... from an aircraft, no less. I bet they were figuring you guys had pounds and pounds of cocaine, hash and hershey bars in those snazzy cars!

What a bunch of horseschit. 7 over? You should have asked him if they would have pulled you over had you been doing 7 over in a family sedan.

It happens. We had a feeling they were looking for illegal or unregistered "kit cars".
