First S3 Pics
Could it be? From Autocar (?). Can anyone read the name plate? It appears to say Esprit but it's too small for that.

Nice rear, top lines, and wheels. Not sure about the front though. Headlights look a little like stuck on triangles.

Doesn't appear to have bumpers so my guess would be no.

Impressive, looks like thats the answer to the big question. Photo appears to be of a real car. I would bet that is Lotus's 2007 Elise. Looks a bit larger than current Elise as per reports. Well all know soon enough if it really is.

The headlamps remind me of the Celica. The taillamps... Saturn SC.

The Blue car on the site (laser blue I would say
) is definitely a larger car but with the same design cues. The side inlet is similar for example. But these cars are not the same. Although this pic has been said to be the next Esprit, it looks much more like an Elise.

Wheels seem to be same diameter front and back. Can't guess at the widths, though.
I think I like the single light cover incorporating the turn signal, especially as it moves it nearer the corner, where the car in front can see it in a side mirror. But the round lights at the rear should be been retained. |

Wow, I like it. As others have said, far better than the Europa.
If the weight stays in check and the engine gets more power via s/c or other upgrade/swap, I could see this being a nice revamp... and will probably hurt our resale values. :-D - John |

I like the looks quite a bit. Looks like a cross between a S2 Elise and a 360 Modena.
Assuming the roof comes off, the weight is below 2k pounds, and there is more power, I would consider one. |

I like it!
I would wager that is not a picture of an actual car... not that that means anything... just sayin'
