That rear-view mirror looks awfully shiny, are you going to anodize it flat black?

Awesome car.
Do you 'touch up' the paint every oil change?

Yes, Steve, owner of Specialty Car Craft begged me to do a slight tint on the headllight housing. I objected vehemetly, my concern obviously being impeded headlight output. Steve said, "you have HID's, right?" I still said I was concerned and didn't want to do it. He told me to go away. Well, he did it, and it looks great and there's no noticable loss of performance from the HID's. Steve was right, as usual. (He told me that had I not liked it, he would have put it back to clear.)

I think I was looking in the rear view mirror at that Saab in the first pic and thinking the same thing. Any closer, and it might have been a Saab story.

Yes, but just the upward facing portion. Swistun shot the car to pieces yesterday. If he doesn't have that shot, I'll get some tomorrow.

I'm thinking that it would look better without any of the lights blacked out. Let the paint "shine" on its own, you know?

I hear you - hopefully Luke will post some pics of the car with the lights off. Really does look better smoked IMO, as the clear lighting elements seemed to break it up too much.
