FYI - Star Specs are being closed out.....
discontinued... so you better order soon. Sorryabout posting in the wrong sub-forum, but i wanted everyone to see this immediately since so many of us run & worship these tires. Tire Rack still has them.

Last I heard they were just closing them out because they changed the compound so they're moving inventory on the current version. Asian markets have been running the new compound for a little while now.

cool - i knew they were replacing them with another tiire, but i did not think it was still a star spec. The sales guy at tire rack....

Nice still a 200 treadwear rating!
I wonder how these compare to the older ones... its a tough act to follow. Has anyone run these yet? Curious to see how the first reviews fair.

i'm buying more old ones, and some new ones after they die. I get one season, 10k miles, out of a set of rears. Next year i'll try the new ones, but right now - i'm mounting a fresh set of rears for spring!!!
