And some of us home theater nuts would read THXCOLN would read it as a digestive tract able to recreate surround sound.

After years of racing a midengined car, my last plate was SPINS. I still have it.

I was thinking of maybe a business plate this time, but with only 7 characters, it is not easy.

What would you say if you saw this car on the road?

Would it make you mad or would it make you smile?

I'm thinking of doing this on a new RED Honda S2000.

Remove front and rear "H" badges and the side S2000 lettering....and replace with rectangular Ferrari logo on front hood and silver prancing horse on rear. Then add Ferrari crest stickers on the fenders and circular Ferrari stickers on the wheels to cover the H.

And, of course, the license plate would be:

FERONDA ... or ... 224 GTS

When I was in high school. I had a red VW Rabbit Diesel re-badged as a Ferrari....but that was clearly not a sportscar. It was a total hoot -- and I even got a parking ticket with "FERRARI" listed under "MAKE OF CAR".

This S2000 would be on a daily driver.

Funny? or would people be out to key the car?

I like "Mine" as losted earlier, but for me it's one of two:

"FINALLY"

or

"YEEHA!"

Heh heh.

i fear they would draw unpleasant conclusions about the driver. may not key it but they might point and laugh when you come back to the car

I am kind of fond of LOWTUSH as a play on the make of the car, though I don't think that I'll be getting a vanity plate.

I just thought of a great one:
Code:
LB4LB
(pound for pound)

Alluding to the performance and dollar value (in british pounds, of course) of the car.

I imagine this plate would go over better in the UK, though.

After adding up tax, license and options, I'm having a little sticker shock. So how about "BROKE" for the license?
