That's pretty shi**y..
I first ordered SNSRY LD sensory load, then changed to PURE S/C pure sports car, and now BB ELISE baby Elise. At 90$ each the state of Calif is getting rich on me. What an idiot!! They have pocketed 270 of my $$ due to my long wait..
Tell the state of WA about this and they may reconsider their policy....

OK, just ordered my personalized plates. Did I hear you say, "What is it"?

YOU'RE CORRECT!

"WATISIT"

People keep asking me "what is it", so I figured I'd beat them to it.

i was going to use PEELIN for my CO car.

both for leaving tire marks all over the place and for peeling an orange as in the orange Elise. Clever IMHO.

some punk has this in CA. Not only this but other plates i wanted. In fact i saw 2 or 3 of them commuting to & from work, and let me tell you they were on the ****tiest cars. I was so pissed when i saw them. unbelievable. The first: CMEPASU was on a beatup old 89/90 Mazda Mx-6. How the f*ck is he going to pass other cars in that crap, new or old. Next, CMYDUST or something like that on a 95 BMW 325. That **** doesn't even create dust! Damn man, GET LICENSE PLATES THAT MATCH YOUR F*CKING CARS CAPABILITIES AND LEAVE THE COOL ONES FOR THE ASS WHOOPERS OF THE FREEWAYS!!!!!!

the best plate i've seen in CA was on a late model Ford Truck: WOMNIZR. I could see people laughing at that sh*t. I was surprised that no one had taken that one sooner.

so all you homies out there in the other states getting CO, try PEELIN

My car will not be here for at least 6 months, but I had to renew for my z anyways.

Gonna look pretty silly riding around for a while with AZ LOTUS,

but I had to grab it while it was there.

After driving around for the first day in my car, I think I might get "LOTUS" because I've been asked 1,000,000 times, "Yo! What kind of car is that?!"

Then I could just point at the plate instead of saying it out loud and having them give ME the "whaaat?" face (they can give it to my car's butt)

Sean,

Sorry... won't help... it will only prompt the question, "WHAT'S A LOTUS????" Accompanied by the usual funny look...

And after you've explained that it's a British car maker and has won at Indy, numerous F1 championships, LeMans, and the likes of Clark, Senna, Hill, Andretti, Fittipaldi, Moss, etc, etc. all were winners driving Lotus... They will look at you again and ask, "DOESN'T FORD OWN LOTUS???"

Sorry... I've answering these same questions since I bought my first of many Lotus in '78... My advise... get used to it!!! Welcome to the club!!!

Kiyoshi

Got my plates today. The mailman told me they'd arrived, handed me the envelope, and asked me "what do they say?" I spelled it out: "W-A-T-I-S-I-T" He didn't quite get it, so he looked at me, puzzled, and said "what is it?". I said "exactly!"

I have so many people ask me what kind of car it is, I figured I'd beat them to the punch.
