Graphics idea? Matchbox, Hotwheels, Mattel?

Hey guys,
Driving into work today and I don't know why but for some reason out of no where I though maybe it would be cool to put a Hot Wheels decal on the car since it looks like Hotwheels car anyway. Or Matchbox, or Matell, or whatever. Thought it might be funny. Figured it might be good for Mini-Coopers too.

Anyone up for it? I can do them in static to be easily removeable. Might be fun for a track day.

Mattel probably won't work. No lead in the Lotus paint. Oh, sorry, just joking!!

Uhhh... no.

There's a riced out Civic in town running around with Hot Wheels logos on the back quarter panels. It sounds like a neat idea, but in practice, it's pretty silly looking... at least on the Civic.

Actually, I've been meaning to find out about getting a static How Wheels logo for my car for use at car shows. I think it would be fun...

How much for a pair - at least a foot long or more?

Codymac, of course it looked dumb. It was on a civic. Everything looks dump on a Civic. No one (but that guy) looks at a civic and says hey that looks like a hotwheels car. I think this should be reserved to Lotus/Mini only. Plus they are just "fun" cars that could pull it off. Civics? eh no. Mundane practical transportation.

Tim, I'll make a pair of Static ones as big as you want (as long as they don't exceed 13" tall) for $75 for the pair, just because I really want to do these, and because I'm massively broke and going out of town this weekend and can make them tomorrow so I'm trying to make it appealing to you... lol.

$5 for shipping
$5 for a roller squeegee that is awesome for applying the static decals

paypal address in Sig.

Even dumber than you can imagine - the fenders weren't all the same color the last time I saw the car, most of which was a lime neon-ish green. I'm sure the guy loves that car... or perhaps it's "car-guy purgatory?"

I could see it being fun on our cars and Minis for car shows though.

I see this is an old thread, but did you ever end up making the graphic?

Any pics?

My new vanity plate is "machbox"

I'd love to see your ideas! (wonder if Mattel will sue?! )

No one every ponied up for it. You can be the first

They will look as amazing as all the other work on my website (which when updated here sooner or later should about double in size)

In defence of Civic: though I don't own one, if properly tuned using Mugen parts and zero body cladding aside from lightly altering the neutral rear spoiler it can actually be pretty nice.

It's just that a lot of "ricers" go for athletics instead of functionality, like 20" rims. Why, God, why?
