In case anyone is curious, repairs are finally complete on my car (except for the LOTUS insgnia which is apparently on back order or something). Final repair bill to the insurance company was $16,900.74.

Now I am going to see what I can do about dimished value.

Its 4k just for the unfinished clam. The labour to paint it and then pull things like the battery, tail lights, read window, trunk lid, etc.. will add up. Not to mention this is CA so the costs are quite a bit higher than other parts of the country.

On the other hand, when the traffic is clear, and the lights are green, it's great fun to go over the crest at speed - the camber change puts you into a nice 4 wheel drift (talk about yer stupid driving)
