Has Anyone Heard From Robert Konick Of Lotus Garage?

I know he had some trouble from Hurricane Sandy and I was wondering if he is okay.

I've tried to email and PM him many times in the last month and I've received no response.

Does anyone know if he's okay?

Ive been emailing him back and forth for a few months on a part that never got delivered to me. He has blamed Lotus for mislabeling some parts and also Hurricane Sandy but has yet to give me any tracking information on a part he said was shipped.

Seems like a mess and I would avoid placing orders with Lotus Garage for awhile until they get their staffing and logistics sorted.

FYI - Robert has started shipping out parts (including mine) that were backlogged by complications from Hurricane Sandy and the 3rd party logistics company he was using.

I just saw this thread.

Things are slowly returning to normal. After the initial delay from Hurricane Sandy which shut us down, we were approached by a company offering to help us fulfill orders and ship parts. I'm not going into details as it's become a legal matter but let's just leave it at things didn't turn out well and a large percentage of orders from November did not ship as we expected them to. We have since brought things back in house and are working to straighten out all the delayed orders and missing parts. As 6i9 said, things are starting to flow again and Sabrina and I are working diligently to reach out to those impacted and confirm status.

It's a shame because parts that required fulfillment directly from our other suppliers (other than Lotus Cars USA) like Lotus Racing, Group Lotus, BOE, Blackwatch, Mansory, Etc have been flowing fine and in fact, we have had shipments from the UK drop ship in literally days from order.

Thank you for bearing with us. We are just about sorted now.
