Without a doubt the best Lotus driver ever. Jimmy, Graham, Emerson, Mario, Ayrton, Kimi couldn't drive like this.
The Exige looks cool without the wing, now if they lowered the rear engine cover down and put on some cool louvres, sort of like a Dino 246 GTS, then it would be perfect!

You could be a unknown ken block, but the odds say no, you cant do that. So I can say that in confidence. Post a video, not talk.
If it was a different car, then ya... boring. This required skill. Lotus does not like drifting. Try it. Last edited by Hello Kitty; 12-01-2012 at 04:41 PM. |

I don't even know where to start here in returning comments. There are tons of videos of guys drifting. This one is not really all that more spectacular than several others using cars that are even harder to drift than a rear wheel driven Elise.
Second to say this guy is better than F1 legendary drivers is wacky. Drifting is not much more than a carnival act. |

You're falling for the troll bait dude.
Cool video, not the most impressive Lotus driver ever though. I'm more impressed with Manly's lap around BW

You cant compare a racetrack video to the original figure 8 video. And to njboy, the elige -IS- the hardest car to drift like that. So other videos of other cars dont apply. Show me a lotus video like that. Even the monza video above (cheating on wet pavement) is not as skilled as original video. Grab a camera njboy, and prove me wrong.

Yeah it's true. The Elise/Exige just has so much grip it's tough to do. I was having trouble even doing donuts in my Elise....in fact, I don't think I ever got a good one.
Tips???

I'm saying that your video is not that impressive and for some reason it seems your taking it personally. My reference to F1 was a response to another poster on this thread. |

I've seen teenage kids at local illegal street races do cooler stuff with their cars like drift around a curb and into a single parking space perfectly. It was pretty amazing to me and definitely more impressive than small drifts in a tight parking lot.
Still a cool video. |
