It really comes down to driver height, or more to the point, torso length. I'm 6', long torso, and had to remove my sun visors. On a couple of occasions, I saw a green light, then next thing you know, I'm entering the intersection to a red light. Never even saw the yellow. No way I could do stickers.

Other people have absolutely no problem whatsoever.

If this piece was at least semi transparent, i could see this as the reason, but it isn't, it's 100 % opaque, you can't see through it. Everyone i've shown it to, or let drive find it's insanely annoying and counter productive to be able to drive, safe.

Unless you slouch, even someone who's 5'6 would have problems seeing. It's not just lights, it's the road in front of you. If you're sitting up straight, you can't see any obstacles more than 20 ft ahead. For a track only mod this is retarded as well. How are you supposed to identify the next turn when you can't see. I'll try and take a pic before I return it.

Battery in the FOB died, so Newport is on their way to return my car.

John from Newport came by and picked it up, dropped my car off too, wow, never had that great of service, i liked it.

Anyway, I asked him about the decal, and basically he said that the previous owner had it installed. Most likely before they sold it, they would remove it, as it's a driving hazard, especially for anyone normal sized or taller, unless you were a midget, or significantly short, there's no reason for this to be on there.

I thought that only worked for ricers when the various stickers represented parts that aren't actually installed on the car.

so, besides the stupid windshield sticker, how was the car otherwise? It looks like they want less than $32k for it, and it's got less than 7,000 miles. kind of tempting for me...
