He stopped coming by as well.

Hopefully that is not happening here (I've only read the first page).

I think it was 808elise......and here's thread explaining why you can't find the one you're looking for.

Another disappearing thread?

Another reference to it-

Thanks, Tracy.

I thought I was either not searching correctly or losing my mind.

I won't tell you which is more likely .

And I was wrong. Looks like 808 still comes around. Last activity was yesterday.

I can't keep reading this thread. Really. I stay away from it. But a quick review tells me it is going over the edge. No, it has gone over the edge. Disagree with the idea all you want (collective you). No need to tell the person he is an idiot and doing so (assuming you feel you have to), is breaking the forum rules.

Yeah... we're not making laws preventing people from putting monitors in their headrests... we're just giving them the negative attention they paid their hard earned dollars to get!!!

A true non-conformist is hard to find. If we jump to conclusions and fall prey to our own prejudices, we'll never know.

I don't give a rat's arse what anyone else does to their car. Different strokes for different folks. That's what makes the world go 'round.

It's strange to be sure but not so nearly disturbing as when the roadkids dropped Richard Simmons, nude in a salad, on us unsuspecting readers.

Quite true. I'm sure most of us don't actually give a rat's ass that he put monitors in his headrests. We're still able to make fun of him even though we don't really care.

True non-conformists don't exist. Or at least I don't know any. Do you?

We may try hard to avoid prejudice in some areas but will likely fall directly into another. It's not all bad, either, depending on so many factors. When was the last time anyone made a decision based on ALL the possible information available? Nothing would ever be accomplished.

The TV screens in the headrests may not have been the right choice for most of us, but if Mikemo is happy with the results, that's good enough.

Creativity is the process of combining things you know in a new way, even if it serves no function other than to be stimulating. We would all get bored if everything were the same and as expected. At the same time, we all have presets that we don't like to see disturbed.

The tvs in the headrests of an Elise is certainly an unlikely combination. But come on folks, step out of your rigid engineering mindsets for a moment and allow yourself to enjoy being amused, shocked, or disgusted.
