Lightning show last night SF/Bay Area...
I've never seen anything like it before in my life (30+ years in CA). 1am - 2:30am it was going strong -- every 1-2 seconds a constant show -- I just couldn't stop watching it.
It was moonlight on the west with electrical storm on the east -- I was trying to figure out how the heck I could somehow get a pic of my Lotus during this amazing night sky. Wish I knew how to take good night shots with my camera. Anyone else happen to be up during this event? And a good photographer? Wow, amazing!! Rob.

My house was shaking when this rolled over Davis, CA. I didn't watch it though, I was seriously lacking sleep and put a pillow over my head to tune it out.

I didn't actually hear anything, sounds like you were in the thick of it. I heard aircraft were re-routed.
