Me driving at MAM last weekend. Got some help from an INSANE BMW M Coupe driver. It's nearly 9 minutes long, but it's worth it
Pay particular attention to the 6 minute mark.... ![]() (how the hell are folks embedding these in the posts ?? )

Any feedback would be cool. Always looking to improve both my driving and video editing. I know the video is a bit long, but I wanted to capture most of Eric's comments.

April 22, 2007 Texas World Speedway Clockwise Yellow Run Group, Session 3 At 3:12 (fast forward to avoid the warm up lap) I gave a point by to a heavily modified Corvette with 575 rear wheel horsepower on slicks while driving my 165 rear wheel horsepower Exige on street tires. (I should have given him a point by before the end of the main straight, but missed it because I didn't see him back there. You can certainly see how fast he can gain on me in the straights!) At 8:41 you can start to see the vette again... At 16:00 the checkered flag is thrown. I spent Monday cleaning Hosiers out of my grill, splitter, windshield, side scoops, etc. ![]()

Crudson,
Excellent choice of music and a good times on the road vibe. Nice people and nice cars. Two thumbs up. ![]() ![]()

Still considering performance/power upgrades however, I am extremely impressed by the performance/power of the S. IMHO, it definitely does not need to be upgraded. Not for the street, anyway. There is no other car for any amount of money that I would rather own and drive. Last edited by SimonMExS : 05-03-2007 at 08:10 PM. |

Hi all,
It's been a LONG time since I've posted here. I took the STi to the track (over a year). I've been tracking my Lotus Elise instead. This time I had a "hankering" to toss the Subie around. No doubt, I'm actually faster in the STi. The Lotus is a lot of fun, but it is a more "technical" car and more difficult to drive near the limits. The power and torque of the STi add to the fun. Anyway... here's a video I threw together. I know some don't like music on a track video, but without it, all you'd hear is wind noise. Click here: Mike PS... Crudson... Loved the video of the trip around the country. Very nice!

A great example of how driving a good line is more important than horsepower.....
