Great video, Perfect example of someone who is watching the rear view instead of their racing line.

Blondie I love your editing! Makes it so grabbing to watch. And it's fun to see your fancy footwork too.

The text is swirling too quickly for me to read most of them though.

Thanks! iMovie does all the work. If you're referring to the Confessions video, the text is supposed to be mostly swirly and illegible. It represents the fleeting thoughts you have while concentrating on the track- remembering where you are, remembering mistakes from previous laps, corners you wanted to improve, etc.

Then again, if art has to be explained, it's a failure, so I guess I failed.

Nah it works, I just have a deep desire to actually read them accurately.

Q -- Good driving and excellent time. Love your foot action.

One quick observation which may sound odd -- I guarantee that your lap time will improve by going slower at one spot. If you did everything the same (well, almost the same) except for taking Cotton Corners (a throw-away set of corners) a bit "slower", you are in better track position to can get on the gas earlier for that entire stretch of track from the Grapevine to the Bus Stop. I know it sounds strange -- go slower to go faster -- Craig Stanton showed me that move and and it alone improved by time by more than a second.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the tip, Jack! I like going fast and loose through Cotton though- it's so much fun. I'll have to get you to show me what you mean next time we're there. I was having the most trouble with the Bus Stop that day. Everyone assures me the entry can be done flat, but I just can't find the nerve to do that.

I know, me too -- that was always my MO in that series of corners.

It was very strange having a race car driver in the passenger seat telling me to slow down at Cotton Corners and be patient.

I just can't touch blondie's videos, but I'll throw a spin up here (featuring none other than ztec in the passenger seat -- and give me a proper "scolding", as a good instructor should....

....and blonde1 makes a cameo in this frame:
