I MAY get a harness but we'll see.

Showing me getting blown away by an Exige S:
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/I51_XEJGrAA"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/I51_XEJGrAA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Here's the hi-res version (MUCH better looking, and 80 MB): http://www.maxerboy.net/vids/brainer...eansExigeS.wmv

Now if I don't get some feedback, I'm cutting y'all off from the vids!

Ok, if you insist. They really aren't noticeably faster on the track if you can keep your NA car on the cam. He passed you like that because his exit speed out of the last turn was much higher than yours. And you were 2 up, which doesn't help. HE blew you away, the car didn't.

Actually, he's not that much faster of a driver than I am. He used to drive a Porsche 996 (stock HP) and I a 350Z (stock HP). His best time in the 996 at that track was 1:56.xxx, and in the 350Z I did a 1:57.xxx. Pretty tight. His best time at that same track in that Exige S with his modifications is 1:55.xxx, while my best in the Elise is 1:59.xxx. That pretty much tells me the car is much better on that particular track -- which favors acceleration and top end. We also compared telemetry and the S had WAY more acceleration out of the turns. Remember I had that 220 lbs passenger, too, in the Elise.

But I do appreciate the comment.

It is a combination of good driver and fast car.
The driver is on this board ...if he would care to chime in.

Conan, why argue the point? you know the reason(s) already.

Not so much "arguing" as putting out some info.

I have seen a ton of these race videos, but this is right up there with the best I have seen! The cars are packed in very tightly, and this guy darts his way through some serious traffic! Looks like he made most of his moves by braking later than the others. Nice "pass on the grass" too!
