Check this out, this guy (on the east coast) got a brief test-drive in the red 111S that was at the LA (and other) shows around the country ! Overall sounds good but he didn't care for the shifter feel.

Cheers !

I have to tell you. I got this yellow Elise model from this company. It positively rocks! I love it.

The doors open. The steering wheel turns and operates the front wheels. The bonnet opens and there is a little wire support you can use like the real car.

The detail and quality are stunning, specially at this cheap price.

It does not help to have it, it makes me want the car even more... but I still recommend it.

Good to hear, I ordered a red one and it should be to me on Monday. But while looking for models I found this:

http://www.hpiracing.com/index2.htm

Just scroll down the page a little.

See if the second post here helps-
http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/show...?s=&threadid=7

Basically Right Mouse Button on a pic to see it's properties which will give you the url. The enclose it image tags.

[img] ADDRESS GOES HERE [/img]

A lot of things on forums are done using tags like this.

And I can recommend the blue that I have tempting me right next to my computer. I am thinking of ordering a red one for work so I can contemplate which color I will order when my number comes up!

That is a cool banner. Might look good on a T-shirt.

Hi there, Calypsoelise. You have the best Avatar that I have seen on the SELOC forum. Friends of yours?

Older Elise site

My Elise site has a wealth of information about the Series 1, lots or articles and pictures. I also have some pictures and an article about the 2001 LA Autoshow where I interviewed Clyde and Roger Becker.

I am keeping a diary of information leading to my purchase and ownership:
