Really nice site Iceman- wish I could read it! Interesting Gunmetal 111s next to that silver Exige- it has a tan interior- never seen that combo before.

It looks like you listed some problems with the car- could you translate those please?

The interior is maden by a company here in Italy that made interior leather for cars, in origin it's a clot interior, also the consolle it's maden by leather.
For the prolems there are little things but i've spent 46.000 euro for my 111R so i report all!

For example the first time i've put first gear at the dealer the support of the rear cowling fall down... resolved changing srew
- The steering wheel was maden a strange noise from the clacson button my dealer resolved it greasing the button
- The pilot's seat has a little movement on the rails, not resolved
- The gear box alloy ball was dancing around it's support my dealere restick it
- the tissue at the edge of the leather seats will destroy your shirts, it's made by very abrasive tissue and i don't know why
- strange vibration inside the car about 4100 rpm in each gear, not resolved

In general the Elise it's a great car with a great engine but you cold close your eyes about these little problems and about the way you have spent your money, it's just a hand made car.
I think that Lotus could improve these little problems putting a little more attention on choosing the components and assembling it.
bye

Lots of details, not many for the S3 as they refer to the Fed Elise/111R/04 Exige.

Very interesting information

I loved their logo so I optimized it so I could use it as my avatar.

Edit:

Anyone heard about this prototype?
