My cars...and some small mods I did today - LotusTalk

Today i decided to work on the cars for a bit, i heat wrapped the exhaust on the Lotus and installed a pedal set for the M3, which looks pretty cool (IMO)

Installed a Winch on my jeep which i got on CL for 600 bucks with the mount plate! i think it was a bargain or the guy did not know what he was selling to me

if you buy it you at the store you will pay around 1600 bucks..

The heat wrap didnt quite go as i expected and it was a bit of a PITA cuz the muffler didnt want to come out easily so i had to remove the diffuser, use a bit of WD-40 to loosen it from the cat pipe and well you know what else...

In the end it turned out well and i wrapped everything but the Cat all the way to the muffler and the muffler tips. I hope wrapping all that will prevent heat from building up as i can see a bit of the rear clam beeing burnt, not by me though, the previous owner used it to race si i guess i wont be running as hot as he did.

The heat shield was all burnt, it still had the shape but it wasnt silver anymore, it was brownish, almost like it was rusted. Has anyone had this issue?? Anyways i hioe the wrap will prevent all that plus i think it looks cool along with the rear panel eliminator.

I also got the front brake rotors from sector 111, actually my uncle bought them for his exige and decided to go larger with the AP's so he is selling me those which he never used or used the for less than 50 miles cuz he got the other kit like 2 days later, my question is:

How much should i offer??? i saw them on fleabay for 700 plus shipping, he told me to make him an offer... what do you guys think is a good price, he will give me the pagid pads as well cuz the dont fit the AP calipers.

Now... does anyone have any idea on the brake question??? and if the wrap will lower the temp on the rear clam?
