my Elise 'experience'...

whoops!

sure is hard to leave the racetrack (where you're going 90+ all day long) then be expected to get on the interstate & follow the speed limit. The rules are just too strict!

95 in a 60 originally ... Iowa should have taken my license away. Since i am really good friends with 2 of his co-workers, he knocked it down to 80mph.

a whopping $69 fine.

slow down out there!

At Skippy School, they warned us about this. They called it being "skip-no-tized!"

I have caught myself going way too fast on the highway after a track event. Easy to do.

- i have a Escort 8500 X1 .... but it was in my racebag. Completely forgot to put it back on before i left. It's only 30min to my house, so i guess i figured it wasn't a big deal. Definitely my fault on that.

- i took the pic right before i left. i had already been in his car and everything ... just waiting for traffic.

- i had blue tape on the headlights too (i figured he'd ticket me for that as well), but he just asked what it was for, then when i got in his car, he asked all about the track. haha

earlier in the day....

the only reason he didn't let me go, is becuase he pulled over two of us at the same time. even though i didn't know the other guy (who was also coming from the track), he said he couldn't do that. oh well.

it has been busted off 3 times now. I called the dealership after the first time, and Lotus is going to cover replacement. I just haven't received the new one yet.

be -VERY- careful of your mirrors, people. if you start to see one vibrating a bit more than normal, chances are, it's going to fall off. see if you can pull it off before it falls onto the street.

i was able to glue mine back on, but it apparently didnt' work too well.
