those look exactly like the bumpers on my 87 911

the top is a little differant but not a bad job for a stick on after thought, I guess if you get hit too hard the rear grill and the muffler will get the brunt of the inpact before the clam gets pushed in.

They don't look too bad...I have no idea what they will protect against, maybe an impact with a kid in a pedal car...but they don't look bad!

Those don't look bad at all but I can't imagine another car low enough to impact there and not damage the clam.

Does not look like the front has changed at all, can you tell if it has "foam" inside or anything that looks different?

Will those limit the after market exhaust options? (or do you think they are removable?)

Yeah, that was my first thought. How does an eliminator panel work with those things?

They're pedestrian shin protectors. Overall, considering this are more for compliance the functionality, Lotus did a good job. They add some variety to the lower portion of the rear. They could protude out just a little bit more to give some proection when the Elise driver backs up into a wall.

Just speculation, but given that they were put on after-the-fact and not part of the original design, I've got to imagine they'll be pretty easy to remove. If it's more than two bolts per bumperette, I'd be surprised.

I kinda like they way the look too. I wouldn't take them off, if you get hit and they aren't there, that could cause you some headaches.

They look great. Amazing that there was no picture published before. I wonder what they will do with the European version.

Congratulations, I think you are the first person to post pictures of them. I didn't think we would see them this early, but they look good.
