Nice. I feel your pain. Something about these cars makes it easy to do.

Modding is a slippery slope no matter what. Every car I've started to mod I just can't stop. Once I change something, I want to go to the next step.

The only car I didn't mod was my 2003 Jetta. It had 115HP, soft suspension, and bicycle tires, so I really didn't feel the need to sink $5k into it make it the same. An Elise though, lends itself to tasteful mods here and there, but can also be left alone since it is so great out of the box. When I pick one up, I think the only thing I'm going to do is pull the shims out up front for more camber, and call it a day. (I hope...)

I'm in the same boat as you!!!

But I promised myself I will be done in the next 2-3 months after I:

- Add intake (don't really like green filter and de-snork)

- Add sport cat to replace de-cat

- Add PES flash

- Add Lotus Driving Lights...

- Multivex mirrors

That should only be around $1700

Wouldn't mind doing coilovers, GUT wing and CF canards...that'd be another $3000 or more.

NEXT MODS...
