Alex,

When purchasing a $30K car, $30 is a small price to pay for peace of mind (carfax). That's my $0.02, and not a penny more!

Yes I am well aware and I will do it either way. I just figured if someone already had carfax it wouldn't hurt them any and I would be very grateful.

sorry man, i just saw your pm. I dont have a carfax account, i was asking for the vin to run a google search. Sometimes you'd get very good info running a google search of the vin, but in your case...nada.
