Let me be the first to say congrats Larry!

You have been lusting over that color since I can remember, and it looks like your wait was well rewarded.

Hope to see you (and the car!) at a bay area Elise gathering sometime real soon...

Best,
John

Excellent! Congrats Larry. In the end you didn't even miss the summer. So, what's your impression of this new Aspen White? It's a metallic? Any pearl? It looks like a nice crisp white.

It's metallic/pearl... look at the 3rd photo I posted and look at the top of the rear fender, you can see a pearl effect.

It's VERY pretty!

Kiyoshi

looks great, I wish it was a choice, i think it eccentuates that black perfectly. i was unsure at first because the white in other pictures looked creamy(off white?). looks great. im sure it was worth the wait, congrats

are you going to get a vanity plate? "Unicorn" or "Ghost"

Larry, you should totally paint that car. Try yellow or orange - I heard those colors look good.

Of course, just kidding! Car looks amazing! Congrats!

Are you going to be at Montery so we can see it?

Kiyoshi describes it well. It is a metallic that achieves a pearl like effect. However, this effect is really only noticeable in sunlight. In the shade it appears more like a bright white (think Monaco), unless you look at the paint very closely.
"I" think it is GORGEOUS and the color has definitely exceeded my expectations! I continue to be impressed by how great the Elise looks in almost every color (apologies to Aztec Bronze fans)!
I believe I am the first Aspen White Elise owner (or at least on the west coast), but I don't expect to be the only one. I heard from a couple of folks while picking up my car, that Aspen White will probably be offered as a lifestyle color for the next model year (which I think begins in December). I also got the impression (YAUR - Yet Another Unsubstantiated Rumor) this will not be the only white variant to be a possible choice and that there was a strong possiblity of some other colors (Polar Blue springs to mind).
I will be posting some color close-ups (in and out of direct sunlight) this weekend, unless I get to it sooner.
I do hope to bring it to Monterey Historics, but don't know which day or days yet. Though I will probably know before midnight
Larry
