How did they do it? Judging from the first pic with the tape it seems like they stuck out. Did they just take em out, glass over the openings and paint?

Would it be possible to move the turn signals into the headlight assembly area thing? Or make custom signals in there? Sorry, not sure what to call it.
I did some brainstorming with some guys - btw, it was great meeting y'all at the Paladin open house. I have seen the turn signal light integrated into the headlight assembly. There are other ideas such as possibly the mirrors or the driving lights in front of the center grill. In any case, we'll have to fabricate some L.E.D. turn signal placement.

How are you gonna singal now?

Like this?

Funny Pat, because that is how I see some of the guys who drive the Ariel Atom on the street signal...
See you at the next D.B. meet and/or Cal Spdwy.

I can't believe you were using Duct tape to secure your turn signals originally.

That was a pic. of my "off" at Buttonwillow at the last LCS event.
I went off into the dirt with such force that the front clam and undertray crumpled up forcing the turn signal lights to pop out. I had to secure the lights with duct tape....then kept on racing.

In regards to the turn signal lights being deleted, Steve at SCC filled in the area with fiberglass then painted it over. Fiberglass was also used to fill in the front clam seams, as well as the rear seams and fin areas.

Ohh! OUCH! Ya, I'd use Duct tape then as well! Car looks amazing after that...guess it did buff right out.

I don't see that many people paint matching their CF parts, but it looks pretty good. You might have even tried molding the front lip to the front clam somehow.

I love CF parts (I have a lot of interior CF...), however, the Gut Aero pkg from Sector 111 comes in fiberglass - so the option was to paint the wing and splitter black or orange...
The design of the splitter does not sit completely flush:
Gut Sport Spoiler/Splitter
But deleting the front license placard helped a little...

Very unique and absolutely perfect!!! I always wondered what it would look like without the turn signals and it looks great. Lotus, see that for the S3?

Yes, the Larini exhaust is much quieter than Eisenman Race with SS X pipes...

I LOVE those seats! The whole interior is integrates the CF bits nicely.

Without the turn singals in the clam the car tends to look wider to me.
