Pics from High Speed Touring @ Hallett on 9-30
Some people might have seen my first post about Hallett here.
It's a 1.8mi. road course in the middle of nowhere, about 40 minutes west of Tulsa. ![]() I went to the high speed touring (basically just running laps) last Sunday and here are some pics: Steve592's Super Clean '05 Elise ![]() ![]() This is a UK spec Atom with the smaller frame and the Honda K20 ![]() Very clean 944: ![]() 300ZX doing what is hates to do... turn ![]() I have a soft spot for Subie wagons: ![]() Sweet line-up: ![]() ![]() ![]() I spun here during the first session ![]() ![]() This is what I expect to see in Oklahoma Racin' ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This weekend, the track was run the "wrong way", clockwise. It was a typical Sunday COMMA event with a bunch of races going on. The Miata series is really big there and quite fun to watch.
This was my second time ever at the track and first time going clockwise and my best lap time was 1:39 which I'm really happy with given that I improved every session throughout the day and was running on Yokohama S.drives w/o the LSS. Consistently I was in the low 1:41s though which isn't that great. At the same time I'm still learning and I had a bunch of fun doing it.
