My elise next to my new daily driver...

I am not really a truck person, but :

1- I needed to be able to haul my daughter's ATV
2- I didnt feel comfortable referring to my elise as a buzzbomb until now

I almost almost almost passed the R8. The owner asked if I was on slicks and how much horse power the lotus had. I said stock tires and 190. Now the r8 is for sale, with only 9800 km on it.

Who in their right mind would buy a car from China? After the lead on kids' toys, melamine in pet food and even in their own milk supply, etc... WTF?

I was in Walmart this morning (not by choice). I made a point of looking at all the tags as I followed my girlfriend around - every item I looked at was made in China. Maybe if Walmart sourced some goods domestically, there could be a few more jobs in North America. Maybe if less consumers bought Walmart's toxic Chinese crap, it would have the desired effect.
