From what I understand... If you want these, you tell Derek, he adds you to the list. When your side vents are done, he sends them to you. You remove your current vents and send them back to Derek. So the time your car is not driveable is the amount of time it takes for you to remove and install the new ones. I'm on the list to get these (will take about 2 weeks before he ships mine) and this is how it's supposed to work right now. Props to Derek for being a stand-up guy and sending out the product before getting the originals back.

Biscoradio pretty much has it nailed. It will take about two weeks for the turn around for people on the list now. I ordered a new set of vents from the dealer, so I should be able to shorten that time as soon as I get those in.
My car is my daily driver so I don't like to be without it. I don't want anyone else to not be able to drive because they're waiting on me. ![]() Derek |

There's still interest. I got "itsthamonsta" out yesterday. He should get them tomorrow. Hopefully we'll here something from him. "biscoradio" is just about ready to send, I'll pm before I do. Jesterbot, I thought you were sending me your vents to work on?

If so I'll need the shipping info/address for where to send these... and the estimated turnaround time so I know how long my car will have to hide from the public ![]() |

Sorry Jesterbot,
Phil S said he would send his original vents to work on. You are right after "biscoradio". I can order a brand new set if you are on a time crunch. I ordered a new set and wasn't real impressed with the quality of the new side vents. And I ordered from a Lotus dealer. If I order from the dealer and they're in stock, I can have them to me in three days. It's your call and very sorry for the confusion. Still lots of interest. List so far: Itsthamonsta : shipped biscoradio : shipping this weekend Munki : sending vents to work on Phil S : wants his original vents done haven't heard anything in awhile Jesterbot : can order new vents if you want Ruggedbert : same time and situation as above Charlie Novell : sending side vents to work on. If there's anyone else please PM me. Thanks for all the interest, Derek |

Its still well below zero here and I have no heat or light in storage. Will try and dig the snow out and pull the vents outside but waiting for a nice day. They are definately going to you. Cheers........Phil

SOLD! I'll PM you for details. Please add me to the list to send a finished pair and I will send back my originals. These look great, simple to install, and quality work.

Following this thread closely and I will be on the list as soon as I friggin find an Elise to buy.
![]() I have a suggestion as well... This same job on radiator outlet grilles would be an awesome match with your side grilles. Like Evarkun1178's. Some of us prefer the plastic-trimmed version of the grilles (IE, yours here) as opposed to the "all-mesh" variants that are available. I know I do. I'd love a matching radiator vent grille set to go with these. Nice and uniform. Just a thought. It's the same method and I'd sure order both sets. ![]() Any chance of this? ![]()

I've thought about doing the radiator and engine covers the same way. Just trying to stay on top of everyone that wants these before moving on to the next project.
If anyone has any other ideas, keep 'em coming. Tracy (RacyTracy), thanks for the good word on the install. PM me for what I'm doing for Ricco. How did they look. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone, Derek |
