I got my vents the other day - they look great pre-install. I'll be installing them Saturday (with help from RacyTracy, thanks!).
For those of you who have kiowapilot's rear deck lid vents and perhaps front radiator vents, here's a picture of the two meshes side by side. I think they are the same size and the mesh material is very similar (kiowapilot's is powdercoated, these are plastic coated) - similar enough that no one looking at the car is going to be able to tell they are a different mesh. |

Awww, shucks, thanks. ![]() It's really easy though. I'll admit the second set is a little easier than the first...but that would only make sense. Also today we removed the snorkle, which made it even easier. The only slightly tricky part is getting the 2 bolts on the side started.....once you get those, it's simple. But you're more than welcome to drive out here. ![]() |

Yeah, the install went really smoothly, except the side bolt is a pain to get in there - Tracy did both of those after I struggled with them. She has the touch! It took about an hour and a half to do both of them. It may have gone a little bit quicker if I had remembered to put the wheel liner back in on both sides... Looks a lot cleaner now. Thanks for the help Tracy!

I'll be out in Ohio in June for a wedding...perhaps I'll just drive on through to Chicago from there! I wish that I could but I'll need more trunk space for the trip, unfortunately, so I'll be forced to take a more practical car. |

Full Elise Grille Conversion Kit (Front Grilles (3 of them), side scoops (2), Quarter Panels (2 near rear lights), Radiator Covers (2), and Engine Lid (4) would be nice. Obviously expensive and a lot of work but i think people might buy that...
