Snow Lotus
Have seen a few photo's of Lotus cars in the snow. Let's see how many cars have seen the cold world during the winter. (my past Elise, not my current Exige).

I still maintain with proper tires you can drive anything in any weather. That said, my Miata on Blizzak LM-25s is doing amazingly in this horrendous snow.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We got surprised by a snow storm last weekend while we were out with the Elise. Still had somewhat badly worn Advan's on car. Not a good combo. Slid off road into the medain between freeway lanes. Had to drive in median about a mile to find a spot where I could climb back onto the road. The Photo's above are the result of the mile of off roading it took to get back on the road. No damage, except REALLY Dirty, and a badly bruised ego from allowing myself to get caught like that. With halfway decent tires, the car is easy to drive in the snow. But on sheet ice, with almost slicks, not so good. There's nothing like that feeling when you are in a flat spin and know that absolutely no input you give will have any positive effect. |

Wicked cool. I'm up in Washington for the winter, and I'm loving being in the snow again. Currently though, I'm driving an older Jeep Cherokee, not an Elise, through the snow.
... Not sure if I'd have the guts to drive a Lotus in the snow, especially with the A048's

Wow, you guys are awesome, but crazy! I guess tires make all the difference. Last year, a few times, I got stuck on ice. I can't imagine snow though. Just don't have the balls.
