Spotted: SY on Rte. 7, Outside Winchester, VA

I saw a SY car today (Sunday) in my area heading east on Route 7. If it was any of you, please let me know. First SY I've seen in person; very nice!

No, I was not driving my car when I saw you. You were within 2 miles of my house when I spotted your car. Did you notice any difference in the reactions you got to the car out here in the countryside compared to down in NOVA? Which AutoX event were you at? Have you tracked your car yet? My apologies for all the questions; I read your profile -- very interesting. The next time you are out this way, please let me know. I'd like to get a better look at your car. I almost bought SY but my wife talked me out of it.

Hey Michael - Glad to see you back in town. Yesterday was nice, wasn't it! (Spent a few hours driving around with the top down - delightful!)

HI! Ed...yepper this whole weekend was great...got a little red from the sun...but sure does feel good to get out of the winter.

Chris...Thanks and sure...I was going the Mercedes Benz AutoX..held once a month at the new HS-Middle School complex right off of RT 7...great lot. The MB club allows non Benz cars in their events...50 cars ran and 75% were things like WRX Sti (a least 6 or 7 of them), 1 Sunbeam Tiger, Vettes, Porsches, Audi, GI/R32s, Acura, and mix of other cars...Benzs included E55, SLK32, and the typical gaggle of sedans. Next event is scheduled for May 22 so come on buy. I might have my C6 vette back by then so I might take that but gotta say the Elise is WAY too much fun autoXing... Have not tracked the Elise yet but I think Ellen is going to...maybe the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point. Reactions...same everywhere...pointing, staring, phone cameras etc. I think PlayStation GT has made our cars famous..every kid knows more than most of their parents about the Elise.. love the attention
Michael

My house is five minutes from where they hold the autoX. If you all can make it out May 22, let me know and we can hang out, eat out, grill out or whatever.
