I HATE STICKERS!!!
They are for pine wood derby cars, not our LOTUS.
I'm thinking of taking them off, straight away and having them painted on in a metallis or something tasteful, but permanent?

YOu won't see a nose badge on a ferrari, letters.
BTW> I had the metal individual letters on my europa, what a pain in the ass when it was time to wax. FYI, if really worried about the letters holding up, clear coat the tail, (this is the way motorcycles do it.). I like the fact that I can replace the letters at any time relatively easily. Chris

>>>Stan, Wait until you have to clean all the built up wax out of them! Chris<<<
Well I'm on my second Europa. It's not that hard with a few tips. 1) Use a quality wax that doesn't build up and leave that white residue. P21S/S100 leaves zero white stuff on trim, glass, edges and so forth. Many other waxes leave a mess though. 2) Things like q-tips can help out cleaning hard to reach spots too. 3) My E30 M3 has areas that can catch wax such as the rear chrome M3 emblem. It's a nonissue using 1 and 2 above. Here's what that emblem looks like, although this example has the wrong emblem it appears: I kinda like those chrome Lotus letters, it's nice to have that option methinks. Stan |
