Throwing Codes like confetti...

I'm posting this in 2 threads hoping to get some quick answers.

Sorry for the redundancy. Appreciate the help.

I've had the SC in for a few days, ran a few test drives up and down the street. Yesterday I did the first serious, high speed runs.

After about 15 minutes of driving, at approx. 7500RPM in 2nd gear, the CEL came on. Car felt fine, no catastrophic failure, just the light.

Pulled the codes today and this what I've got:
1. P0103 - MAF circuit high input
2. P0113 - IAT sensor 1 circuit high input
3. P1302 - Manufacturer control, ignition system or misfire

Anybody have any ideas about what my problems are? I can't drive it until these things are solved.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Regards,
Wayne

sounds stupid, but make sure your MAF is plugged in and the wires arent pinched somewhere.

Pretty sure the iat and maf ar running as a divider circuit in which and unplugged connector results in a full reference signal = high input.
The iat and maf are integrally made.

Do you have a stock airbox or some cai or cone filter with maf adapter.

I'm going to recheck the MAF connection on the airbox as well as clean the 2 sensors in the MAF itself. I'll clear the codes and see what happens...

I'm using the stock airbox with a K&N filter. Filter has 8,000 miles on it.

Thanks for the input.

Regards,
Wayne

Good News!!

After getting a bunch of suggestions, I did the following:

1. Removed MAF from airbox.
2. Cleaned with CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner ($7). MAF was dirty.
3. Re-routed the MAF sensor wires so they weren't pinched.
4. Pulled each plug, inspected and re-installed.
5. Cleared codes with code reader.
6. Made 3 separate runs at full operating temperature, over a wide range of speeds, RPMs and gears.

NO CEL... (so far)

Looks like I might be OK.

Car feels great, almost scary fast at this point.

Thanks for all the help and input. It's greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Wayne

Congrats Wayne!

Glad it worked and you pushed me one step closer to get a SC myself, almost time to pull the trigger.

Enjoy

Hi Mats,
I'm glad it worked out too. I was starting to sweat!! Hope it stays this way.

Really, do yourself a favor and GET this thing. It is amazing.

The pull at low RPMs is so much better. Acceleration is fantastic. And the subtle, but audible, SC sound is sweet. My daughter says it sounds like an airplane.

Have a good Summer!

Regards,
Wayne

Wayne you jumped from 190 -> 255 hp... imagine another jump of the same magnitude from 255 -> 325 hp!

Just teasing... congrats!

*BTW I think I might need a 330R plaque for the manifold...
