After the gym today, walking to the Lotus parked in the middle of the gigantic mall parking lot, the furthest point possible from all other cars:
Ghetto Black Girl #1: Excuse me! Me: (stick my head in the car, attempting to ignore her) Ghetto Black Girl #1: Excuse me! Me: Yes? Ghetto Black Girl #1: What kind of car is that? Me: A Lotus. Ghetto Black Girl #1: A what? Me: A Lotus Ghetto Black Girl #2: Does it go fast? Me: If you drive it that way. Ghetto Black Girl #1: How much does it cost? Me: However much you think it costs. Ghetto Black Girl #2: $5,000! Me: Err... no. Ghetto Black Girl #1: $20,000! Me: (WTF??) Multiply that and you got it. Me: (speeding off) I should have said "One Millllllion Dollars! Wahahahahaha!" with pinky in mouth.

While stopped at a gas station, just finished refueling... car pulls up to the pump behind me; passenger gets out...
Girl: Cool Car! Me: Thanks. Girl: Can I take some pictures of it? Me: Sure. Girl: We were driving by, and I said to my girlfriend: "Stop and get gas, I want to take a look at that car!" (Gas Station Photo Session ensues...)

Before reading this you have to understand that this is NASCAR / Drag racing country down here!
Guy at work: Wow I see you got Nitros!! Me: What? Guy at Work: In your car. Are you going to drag it now. Me: Oh. No. That's a fire extinguisher. Guy at Work: Oh ......Me: No, but I am going to a track tomorrow. Guy at work: Wow - Lowes Motorspeedway? Me: No, that's an oval. My car is designed to go around lots of bends quickly. Guy at work: Lowes has bends - four of them. Me: Yeah but I'm interested in driving quickly around a course, not driving a car in a straight line or in round in circles. I lived in Germany for four years and had lots of Autobahn practice already, Guy at work: You should drag it. Me: Ahhhhh excuse me I have a conference call in 2 minutes ![]()

actually... that isn't a bad idea. We can code up a little lotus fan or nascar fan quiz. The if statements for which might be even more humorous than the questions we pose to users.
If(!moron) { gotoAndPlay("twisties"); } |

I think I see a bug You use '|' which is bitwise OR. That means you are or-ing dragRace and oval together. The result is that event is both a dragRace and an oval. Right, so if #define dragRace 0x01 #define oval 0x02 then event becomes equal to 0x03. Perhaps instead did you intended to use logical or? '||'. Then, as long as you either have an oval, or a dragRace, you will then get event set to true. So instead... Code:
if(goingToTheTrack){
event = dragRace || oval;
}
I'd like to submit my above comments as the 'most stupid' comment. :-)

Not really funny or stupid, but odd:
50-ish guy at stop light shouting across his car: "Nice ride. I once had a 1967 Austin-Healey with that exact same engine in it." He kept pointing at the FRONT of my car and repeating "exact same engine, exact same." I wanted to know more about how he had traveled ahead in time and transported our Toyota 4-banger back to the 70s. Didn't want to be an a$$ and ruin the guy's nostalgic moment, so I just said "really?" Guy replied, "Yeah, it was in the shop all time. Good luck with yours." I said thanks and floored it as the light turned green. |

I was just standing outside at Starbuck's swilling my coffee before I got back in the car and this tank of an Infiniti pulled up next to the elise. I heard the mom talking to the kid in the back so I scurried over to see if she if she was going to smack my car. Out comes this 5 year old boy. He does an about face and is nearly fogging up my window looking at the car. She tells him to come along and while he's walking sideways taking in the car he says "Mom, that's the coolest car I have ever seen." It was too cute.
