What oddments?

Wednesday, November 28, will be two weeks that I've had my brand new Solar Yellow '06 Lotus Elise.

Between the two seats and behind them, on the "rear bulkhead" is a little storage facility called an "oddments pocket." It's too big for maps or the manual, so what is it suitable for? I'm thinking maybe the insurance information or carefully folded money.

Consider this a survey. What do YOU put in there?

Dan the K.

besides the bulkhead I also have a storage net , so my owners manual and insurance cards are in that, on the rear bulkhead I have my CD case with MP3's CD's

I should keep my insurance / registration there instead of in the boot with my manual. Last time I had to get my insurance / registration was when I got pulled over by the police for speeding. Ended up locking my keys in the boot miles from home!

Just a hand towel. In case of drips or emergency.

Can you leave it there @ toll booths, or do you move it?

I put the Koran in there. Not because I am religious, but because my friends swear it saved our lives a few times

I've always heard that we should keep the registration in our wallets; not in the car.

My wife and I trade cars all the time. I don't want to create a situation where we have to track each other down every time one of us needs to go somewhere. Also, the WA registration is 8.5x11. By the time it's folded to fit it a wallet it'd be about a half an inch thick.

What's the concern with leaving it in the car?
