What is the Siren Noise I'm hearing? - LotusTalk

Yesterday I noticed a siren sounding wine coming from the front of the car when I started the car. It has been doing it ever since. I can't tell if it is related to the alarm, the fan or what.

Anyone ever heard this?

I get an occassional noise on start up, kind of like the starter solenoid not disengaging correctly, but it's from behind the seat, not up front. Not much up front that could make the noise. If it is routinely doing it...definetly time to take a trip to the local dealer for warranty work. Let us know what it is when you find out.

I thought my fan sounded like a siren when it came on. But it would not come on when you start the car unless the car is hot or the therostat is stuck.

I agree that the fans have a siren like sound. I forgot to plug the wire that leads to the air intake back in after I cleaned my CAI filter. If that wire is not plugged in the fans will kick on as soon as the car is started.
