Really Ralphy? Are you kidding or did they actually tell you? I asked them to keep their traps shut. SO EXCITED for April!
Btw, you'll shoot your eye out kid.

turn-offs
The junk stereo that comes with the car.
Being blinded by tailgaitors at night. Hundreds of small pebbles/glass fragments falling down when I remove underpanel for maintenance work.

I did that mod a long time ago. Better but still not great. And yes, I lost a quart of blood in the process!

Having to feed it 93 octane fuel. As the Lotus developed V8 engine was detuned from 500 hp to 350 hp as the French gearbox couldn't handle more than that, I don't understand why premium fuel is needed.

"downsides" to owning a Lotus
Only one for me at the moment....
- Not enough chances to drive it the way it wants to be driven! Trackdays, autoX, time trials, etc.... all seem to be on the weekends. I need some in the evenings, maybe my lunch break, maybe right now! It's a problem. I have to agree with some earlier comments about wanting another one. Mine seems perfect for me and I still find myself "shopping" for another one. I think if I had my arctic silver Elise with chrome orange stripes and a chrome orange Exige with arctic silver stripes the world might be in balance (at least my world).
